Measurement Guide
Measurement Guide
Finding the perfect wedding dress starts with taking accurate body measurements. Please follow this guide carefully before placing your order. We recommend asking a friend or tailor to assist you for the most precise results.
📏 Tools You’ll Need
-
A flexible measuring tape
-
A mirror
-
A notepad or phone to record your numbers
-
Wear form-fitting clothing or proper undergarments (avoid bulky clothes)
📐 Key Measurements
1. Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra similar to the one you plan to wear with your dress. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and not too tight.
2. Waist
Measure around the smallest part of your waist, usually about 1 inch (2.5 cm) above your belly button. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
3. Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, usually about 7–9 inches (18–23 cm) below your waist.
4. Hollow to Hem
Measure from the hollow space between your collarbones (base of your neck) straight down to the floor, wearing shoes of the same height you plan to wear on your wedding day. This measurement is crucial for dress length.
5. Shoulder Width
Measure from the edge of one shoulder (where it meets your arm) across the back to the other shoulder.
6. Armhole / Arm Circumference
Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm, keeping the tape comfortably loose.
7. Sleeve Length (if applicable)
With your arm slightly bent, measure from the edge of your shoulder down to the wrist.
8. Height
Stand straight against a wall, barefoot, and measure from the top of your head to the floor.
📝 Tips for Accurate Measuring
-
Always stand straight but relaxed.
-
Do not hold your breath or pull the tape too tightly.
-
Have someone help you – self-measuring often leads to mistakes.
-
Double-check each measurement before recording it.
-
Use inches or centimeters consistently (do not mix).
📊 Choosing Your Size
-
Compare your measurements with our Size Chart (available on each product page).
-
If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger size for easier alterations.
